Requirements
- Students learn from faculty members who have experience as successful fashion designers, jurors of exhibitions, and are active members of professional organizations.
- The program employs design process and "design thinking" to educate in design development through an emphasis on art and design research, fashion history, and fashion industry analysis.

- Students learn in a new 238,000-square-foot facility that opened in 2019 with state-of-the-art equipment and fabrication labs in the four-story, open-concept building.
- The UNT Fashion Design undergraduate program is fifth among public schools in the U.S. and 64th in the world among public and private schools, according to CEOWORLD magazine, March 2022.
- UNT is the only university in the region that has a fashion design program in a college devoted to visual art and design. We also offer both B.F.A. and M.F.A. degrees in fashion design.
