Program Overview

The Peace Studies Minor at the University of North Texas is an interdisciplinary program that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and social justice. It equips students with the knowledge and skills to address global challenges related to violence, conflict, and human rights. Graduates pursue careers in foreign service, international law, international business, the Peace Corps, and private organizations focused on peacebuilding and development. The program offers scholarships, internships, and study abroad opportunities for students to gain practical experience in peacebuilding and social justice activities.
