• Professional Speaking, Writing, and Presentation in a Global Environment (3 hrs) Mastery of the writing process, public speaking, and professional presentations.
• Business Statistics with Spreadsheets (3 hrs) Statistical inference for means and proportions, analysis of variance, correlation, simple and multiple regression.
• Finance (3 hrs) Overview of money and the banking system; interest and present value calculations; financial information; analysis and financial decision making; security markets.
• Organizational Behavior (3 hrs) Individual behavior in formal organizations. Cases, lectures, and experiential exercises in organizational culture, motivation, leadership, dynamics of power, perception and attribution, communication, decision making, and performance, and individual differences.
• Foundations of Marketing Practice (3 hrs) Survey of marketing concepts and practices and overview of the range of activities performed by marketing managers.
• Legal and Ethical Environment of Business (3 hrs) Historical, economic, political, and ethical bases of contracts and sales, including the Uniform Commercial Code, and the impact of regulatory agencies on business enterprise.
