Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Accounting from Xavier University is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to keep accurate financial records, solve tax problems, and make strategic and ethical decisions for companies and individuals. The program prepares students for the certified public accountant (CPA) exam and a career in accounting, information systems, cost management, taxation, or auditing.

Accounting Program at Xavier University
The BSBA in Accounting is a four-year program that is a step toward fulfilling the 150-hour requirement (mandated by Ohio and other states) to sit for the CPA examination. The Master of Science in Accountancy is a five-year program that enables a student to earn a BSBA in Accounting and an MBA while satisfying the 150-hour requirement for the CPA exam. Students are allowed to seek admission to the MBA program during their senior year.
