Program Overview

The Social Work minor provides students with an interdisciplinary understanding of social work practice, including its history, functions, and processes. It complements undergraduate study programs and requires 18 semester hours, including 12 upper-division courses and two electives from related fields. The minor aims to give students a basic understanding of social work and prepare them for further study or careers in social services.
