Program Overview

The Chemistry Minor at Western Oregon University equips students with a solid foundation in chemistry principles, critical thinking, and laboratory techniques. It provides pathways to professional work in chemistry or forensic science, graduate studies, or pre-professional training in health sciences or secondary education. The minor includes coursework in general chemistry, organic chemistry, and an upper-division elective, totaling 30-31 credits.
