Art & Design Minor

Program Overview

This program offers a strong foundation in art with a focus on developing technical skills through a combination of core courses and elective options. Students can tailor their coursework to their interests and career aspirations, selecting from various upper-division art and design courses. The program culminates in a minimum of 28 credits, with satisfactory grades accepted for program requirements.

• Lower Division Art Credits:
Minimum of 16 credits in 100- and 200-level Art and Design courses. Students should work with their minor adviser to plan which prerequisite courses are required for the upper division courses they need.
• Upper Division Art Credits: Minimum of 12 credits in 300- and/or 400-level Art and Design courses.
