Program Overview
Doctor of Pharmacy Program
The Doctor of Pharmacy program at the Jefferson College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. Throughout the curriculum, faculty incorporate active learning, simulated patient-care experiences, and other strategies to facilitate the continued development and application of critical thinking and clinical skills.

Curriculum
- The innovative curriculum provides students with the opportunity to develop clinical practice skills.
- The curriculum is created vertically, such that material learned in earlier years is further developed and built upon in the latter years.
- Successful completion of each semester, with a grade of "C" or better in all required coursework, is necessary for progression to the subsequent semester.
- Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in order to remain in good academic standing.
