Program Overview

The Post-Graduate Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (PPCNP) program prepares nurses to provide advanced care to infants, children, and families. Graduates are eligible to sit for the CPNP-PC exam, and are prepared to work in various settings including clinical practice, home health, and public health. The program can also be completed by NPs seeking a new area of practice, and academic credit may be granted for prior experience. The curriculum emphasizes knowledge integration, organizational leadership, research translation, and interprofessional collaboration.
