MS - Trauma, Addictions & Recovery Concentration
Program Overview
This 66-credit MS program in Community and Trauma Counseling with a concentration in Trauma, Addictions, and Recovery equips professionals to effectively identify, diagnose, and treat co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. The program prepares graduates for national certification and state licensure and is accredited by CACREP for 8 years. Students can choose between daytime and evening formats to suit their schedule.

Degree Overview:
The 66-credit MS degree in Community and Trauma Counseling PLUS Concentration in Trauma, Addictions and Recovery provides professionals with an advanced understanding of the potential impact of trauma on physical, social, cognitive, and emotional development and further provides training in identifying, diagnosing and treating co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. The program prepares graduates for state licensure and national certification in professional counseling (LPC/NCC), and the Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) credential. (MS only).
- Two formats are available to achieve your educational goals with your schedule: Daytime and evenings. Students in the daytime format will be required to attend a small number of evening classes.
