Program Overview

The Master of Family Therapy Degree is a full-time, two-year program that focuses on key areas of contemporary practice, including couple and marital counseling, family therapy, and sex therapy. The program emphasizes a bio-psychosocial approach and training therapists to be aware of cultural diversity and its impact on family functioning and the therapeutic process. Students select one of two specialty tracks at the end of the first year: the Sex Therapy Track or the Family Therapy Track.
