Program Overview

The Human Genetics and Genetic Counseling Master's program at Thomas Jefferson University is a 21-month program that combines basic science with psychosocial education and clinical and research opportunities. Students learn about human genetics, counseling, and ethical, psychosocial, and legal issues. The program is fully accredited and enrolls 10 students per year. Graduates are prepared to provide innovative, quality, compassionate care and cultural humility to diverse communities.
