Program Overview

The Design of Resilient Communities Graduate Certificate at Jefferson University is a 12-credit, 6-month program that equips students with the knowledge and skills to guide organizations toward thriving amidst environmental, social, and economic challenges. The program emphasizes adaptation to climate change and explores resilient design practices, focusing on sustainability, adaptability, and community engagement through courses in principles of sustainable design, adaptive and resilient design, ecological systems for resilient landscapes, and a resilient communities design studio. Scholarships are available for eligible students.
