Program Overview

This eight-month entry-level program combines classroom instruction with courses in wilderness travel, canoeing, rock climbing, and more, preparing students for careers as mountain, sea, or river guides, adventure sports instructors, and other wilderness-related leadership occupations. Graduates can apply their credits towards an Adventure Guide Diploma or degree concentration. Employment prospects are excellent at provincial, national, and international levels.
