Program Overview
Upon completion, graduates possess the competencies required for the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Exam and pursue rewarding careers in healthcare. Additionally, eligible Indigenous participants receive financial support through a non-refundable grant of up to $10,000.
Program Outline
This comprehensive program provides the knowledge, skills, judgment and attitude to perform to the competencies identified by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia. (Williams Lake Campus only.)
Careers:
Upon successful completion of the program, learners will possess the competencies to successfully complete the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Exam.
Other:
The value of the non-refundable grant is set at $5,000 per program year per eligible Indigenous participant. Only program years (not prerequisite years) are eligible. The total maximum value of this grant per Indigenous student over the duration of their program is $10,000.
