This certificate is designed to provide educators (K-12 teachers, post-secondary instructors and trainers) in BC and elsewhere, with a solid foundation in the technical and pedagogical expertise required to effectively use education technology in the classroom, in distributed learning environments and in online education. To qualify for an additional salary level in BC, you need 30 or more senior- or graduate-level credits. Gain 15 of those credits through this credential. - You must maintain a GPA of 3.00 to remain in the program. One grade of ‘F’ may result in dismissal from the program. Students with B- or lower in two or more courses must withdraw—regardless of their GPA—unless the program coordinator recommends otherwise.

- Bachelor of Education
- Baccalaureate (bachelor's) degree in another discipline, along with teaching qualifications or experience
