Program Overview

The BFA in Musical Theatre at UAB is a competitive program that combines intensive training in acting, singing, and dancing with opportunities for onstage and backstage experiences. The program aims to prepare students for careers in the contemporary musical theatre market through connections to professional organizations and a showcase in New York City. Students also benefit from collaborations with local theatre companies, including Birmingham's Red Mountain Theatre.
