The University of Alabama at Birmingham's (UAB) Collat School of Business offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Distribution. This program is one of only a handful of its kind in the United States.

About the Program

When you buy something at the store, do you ever think about how it got there? There's a lot to it, and understanding this can make you quite successful. With a degree in industrial distribution, you can pursue this high-demand career and work in government, high-tech industries, manufacturing, healthcare operations, or other industries.

To succeed in any of those careers, however, you're going to need to start with a solid foundation in business communications, financial management, marketing, information systems, and more. And that's exactly what we have designed our program to offer. In addition to our popular engineering-based program that prepares students for a technical business world, we also offer a concentration in medical equipment and supplies distribution, which features a highly integrative medical-business curriculum.
