Program Overview

The Kinesiology, BS program at UAB provides a comprehensive understanding of human movement and fitness through its four concentrations: Exercise Science, Sports Physiology and Performance, Exercise Bioenergetics, and Physical Education with Teacher Certification. The program prepares students for careers in physical education, physical therapy, and occupational therapy, with a projected 13% growth rate in exercise physiology. It is delivered on-campus with in-person meetings.
