Program Overview

The Research Communication Graduate Certificate at UAB empowers individuals to communicate complex scientific research effectively. The 15-hour program includes core courses in presentation, research writing, and a portfolio project, along with elective options in fields such as journalism, business, and marketing. Graduates are prepared for careers in science journalism, research communication, and medical writing, among others. The program can be completed on-campus or online.
