Public Health / Veterinary Medicine (Coordinated Degree)
The Public Health / Veterinary Medicine (Coordinated Degree) program offers a unique opportunity for students to earn a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. This coordinated degree program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in public health and veterinary medicine, preparing them for careers in areas such as food safety, zoonosis prevention, and occupational and environmental health.
Program Overview
The MPH/DVM program is offered in conjunction with the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. The MPH portion of the program provides students with a foundation in public health, centered around an evidence-based public health model. The MPH portion of the program can be completed online, and the degree shares up to 12 credit hours with Auburn's DVM program, allowing students to complete their degree in a timely manner.
