Program Overview

The Doctor of Science in Healthcare Leadership from UAB is a blended program designed for experienced leaders to enhance their decision-making, leadership abilities, and healthcare operations knowledge. Through a combination of online coursework and three annual on-campus sessions, students delve into industry challenges, apply concepts to real-world situations, and conduct applied dissertation research to contribute to the healthcare field. Led by Dr. Bob Hernandez, the program fosters a cohort-based learning environment that supports executives with demanding schedules.
