Program Overview

The UAB Graduate Certificate in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Advocacy (DEIA) equips students with knowledge and skills to become social change agents in the workplace. The 15-hour online program covers topics such as politics, equity, inclusion, and leadership, emphasizing cross-cultural discussions and evidence-based approaches. Graduates gain essential tools to promote equity and inclusiveness in their organizations, preparing them for leadership roles in fields valuing diversity and inclusion.
