Course Description

The course aims to create an inclusive, inspiring, and enriching education, imparting a basic understanding of electrical and electronic engineering, and developing skills through education and research.

What's the Difference Between a BEng and an MEng?

The MEng places greater emphasis on industrially related project work, advanced technical content, and leadership, and automatically meets the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.

Accreditation

The program is pending approval for Partial CEng/IEng accreditation by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

Entry Requirements

The entry requirements include:

• A/AS-levels: BBB, including Maths.
• EPQ with A-levels: BBC + EPQ at grade B.
• GCSE: Grade C/4 in English Language.
• Access to HE Diploma: Pass in Engineering Diploma with 45 credits at level 3.
• International Baccalaureate: Pass Diploma with 28 points, with grade 5 in Maths HL.

Fees and Funding

The fees for the course are:

• UK Students: ｣9,790 in the first year, subject to Parliamentary approval.
