Overview

Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Science in Forensic Sciences program, students should be able to:

Concentrations
The program offers two concentrations:
- Crime Scene Investigation (CSI): Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of methods and techniques applicable to crime scene investigation. Apply the specialized skills of crime scene investigation and reconstruction in legal and professional settings.
- Questioned Documents & Fingerprints (QDFP): Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of tools and techniques applicable to the fields of questioned documents and dermatoglyphics. Use specialized technology for questioned document and fingerprint evidence examination.

Admission Requirements
- Entry to the program requires students to have attained the General Education Secondary School Certificate (G 12) or equivalent.
- A minimum high school average of 60% is required.
- Evidence of English Language Proficiency:
- Students from non-MoE curricula that are taught in English are exempt from providing English Language proficiency evidence.
- Students from non-MOE curricula taught in a language other than English must demonstrate proficiency through international standardized tests (IELTS 5 and above).
- Students from the MoE Curriculum must prove their proficiency through High School English grades, which should not be less than 80%.
- Evidence of proficiency in Physics or Chemistry or Biology:
- A minimum of 60% score in Physics or Chemistry or Biology at Grade 12 level, or
- A minimum of 60% score in Physics or Chemistry or Biology on the Amity Placement Tests (APT).
