Admission Requirements
Entry to School of Engineering Architecture Interior Design undergraduate programs requires students to have attained the General Education Secondary School Certificate (G 12) or equivalent. The following criteria must be met for entry into the programs: BS Aerospace Engineering, BS Civil Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Computer Science, BS Information Technology, BS Biotechnology, Bachelor of Architecture, and Bachelor of Interior Design.
- English Language Requirements:
- Students from non-MoE curricula that are taught in English are exempt from providing English Language proficiency evidence.
- Students from non-MoE curricula taught in a language other than English must demonstrate proficiency through international standardized tests (IELTS 5 and above or its established equivalent).
- Students from the MoE Curriculum must prove their proficiency through High School English grades, which should not be less than 80%.

- EmSAT Achieve: Minimum score of 700 in Physics.
- Grade 12 subject scores: Equivalent to 65% in Physics in a school system with centralized examination structure (e.g., Emirati school system, British system, International Baccalaureate system).
- Amity University Dubai placement tests: Score of 65% in Physics.
- Other internationally recognized tests: Equivalent scores approved by the UAE Ministry of Education.
- English Language Proficiency:
- Emirates Standardized Test – EmSAT Achievement for English: Minimum score of 1100.
- TOEFL: Minimum score of 500 (or 61 in TOEFL iBT or 173 in TOEFL CBT).
- IELTS Academic: Minimum band of 5.0.
- Other English proficiency tests: Equivalent scores approved by the Ministry.
- Arabic Language Proficiency:
- EmSAT Achieve: Minimum score of 500 in Arabic language.

- Amity University Dubai placement tests: Score of 60% in Arabic language.
- Other internationally recognized tests: Equivalent scores approved by the UAE Ministry of Education.
- Conditional Admission: In this case, the student must register for the University's non-transferrable remedial courses in these subjects.
- Minimum high school average: Applicants with a minimum high school average less than 60% may be given conditional admission provided they register in three remedial courses determined based on their grades in relevant subjects on the high school certificate.
