Program Overview

Students develop creative abilities in visual arts, music, theatre, and media while simultaneously enhancing their foundational skills in writing, math, and IT. Upon completion, graduates can pursue specialized undergraduate degrees in these fields, equipping them for roles such as visual arts officer, gallery technician, and media advisor.

Degree Overview:

Start your university studies with a Diploma of Multidisciplinary Studies if you haven’t finished Year 12 or never studied before. The diploma is also designed to develop your general study skills in writing, mathematics and IT.

Outline:

To complete this degree students must complete 8 units. Most courses (similar to ‘subjects’) are valued at 1 unit. To study full-time you would usually complete 4 units per study period.

As a diploma graduate, you will be provided with general knowledge in preparation for a career in the arts. Further study in your chosen field can provide a pathway to your dream career.
