Overview

The MSc Real Estate Development and Investment is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The programme has been designed to appeal to a wide range of applicants, including existing property professionals. There is the possibility of conversion to an RICS-approved professional qualification.

Programme Aims

• Develop awareness, understanding, and critical appreciation of the role of real estate investment and development in a market-led economy.

Entry Requirements

• UK citizens and permanent residents: An undergraduate (honours) degree at 2:2 or above in a relevant subject.
• International entry requirements: The University of Greenwich accepts a broad range of international qualifications for admission to our courses.

Fees and Funding

• Home: £11,325 (full-time), £1,887 per 30 credits (part-time)
• International: £17,975 (full-time), £2,996 per 30 credits (part-time)

Careers and Placements

• The programme provides employability services, including career opportunities, CV clinics, mock interviews, and employability workshops.
• Students can also join student societies, such as the RICS, to network, build skills, and present new opportunities.

Support and Advice

• Academic skills and study support are available through tutors, subject librarians, and the online academic skills centre.
• Support from the department includes access to Microsoft Project and RICS BCIS online, as well as pastoral support throughout studies.

Accommodation

• Living in halls of residence is a great way to make new friends and get into the social side of university life.
• Rooms start at £146.30 per week and include Wi-Fi, utility bills, access to the on-campus gym, and 24-hour security.
