Overview
Increase your potential and apply knowledge to a real consultancy project with a CILT and CIPS accredited Master’s in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
A full understanding of supply chain management and logistics is increasingly important in business and management. This MA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management explores supply chain networks in global and domestic contexts and prepares you to address issues such as cost reduction and service enhancement. Areas of study will include the functions of procurement, production, distribution and customer service, alongside a diverse range of designs and structures.
You will have the opportunity to visit industrial locations, attend seminars from industry guest speakers, and collaborate with business partners for a dissertation. In the final stage of this course, you will undertake a two-week consultancy project with selected companies.

Entry Requirements
UK citizens and permanent residents
- An undergraduate (honours) degree at 2:2, or above, in a relevant subject.
- Applicants without a degree that have professional qualifications or relevant professional experience may be considered.

How you will learn
Teaching
- In a typical week, learning takes place through a combination of lectures and seminars.
- You'll be able to discuss and develop your understanding of topics covered in lectures in smaller group sessions.
Class sizes
- The typical student intake per year is up to 20.
- Lectures are normally attended by 20-35, and seminars/tutorials by 15-30, based on our 2018 intake.
Independent learning
- Outside of timetabled sessions, you'll need to dedicate time to self-study to prepare for coursework, presentations and exams.
Overall workload
- Your overall workload consists of contact hours (lectures, seminars, etc), independent learning, and assessments.
- For full-time students, the workload should be roughly equivalent to a full-time job.
