Entry Requirements
- Foundation degree or Diploma of Higher Education with at least 55% or a relevant HND at grade Merit. Alternative Level 5 qualifications may be considered.
- Applicants without the required UCAS Tariff points that have relevant experience may be considered.

Degree Overview:
This degree offers high-quality, broad-based training in animal management, providing a solid understanding of applied animal sciences and opening up numerous career paths. Modules focus on animal behaviour, wildlife and habitat conservation and animal welfare issues. Many graduates go on to study Master's or PhD degrees in their chosen specialism or forge successful careers as conservation scientists, wildlife officers, animal keepers, reserve wardens and ecological consultants. Full Time - Year 1
Compulsory Modules:

Assessment:
Students are assessed through a combination of assessment methods depending on the modules chosen. Each course has formal assessments which count towards your grade. Some courses may also include 'practice' assignments, which help you monitor progress and do not count towards your final grade. Assessment feedback on the programme will be delivered through a range of mechanisms depending upon the assessment method. Assessment feedback will be given in a timely manner that adheres to Hadlow College's Assessment Policy, within 15 working days on assessment feedback being given to the students on formal summative assessment. Examination results will be available within 28 days.
Teaching:
Learning takes place through a combination of timetabled learning and independent study. Seminars and workshops enable you to discuss and develop your understanding of topics covered in lectures in smaller groups. You will also be able to meet your personal tutor. Timetabled learning may fall between 9am and 9pm depending on your courses and tutorials. As a degree student at Hadlow College, you will enjoy the friendly atmosphere of a rural campus university with the smaller class-sizes more common in colleges. We are an experienced team of academic and industry professionals who have strong links to the agriculture sector.
