The LLB Law (Graduate Entry) program at the University of Strathclyde is designed for graduates from other disciplines who wish to pursue a career in law. Facilities
The Strathclyde Law Clinic is run by students for members of the public who cannot afford a lawyer and are not eligible for legal aid. More than 200 students are involved, regularly representing clients in Small Claims and Sheriff Courts.

Assessment
The program uses many different methods of assessment, in addition to exams and coursework. Students can participate in mooting competitions, and Strathclyde has impressive success rates in these.

Teaching methods include lectures, tutorials, seminars, and experiences such as the Law Clinic and legal practice.

- Academic Requirements: Second-class Honours or Pass/Ordinary degree. Applicants who do not meet these requirements may also be considered.

- England, Wales & Northern Ireland: £11,150
- Republic of Ireland: If you are an Irish citizen and have been ordinary resident in the Republic of Ireland for the three years prior to the relevant date, and will be coming to Scotland for Educational purposes only, you will meet the criteria of England, Wales & Northern Ireland fee status.
- International: £23,850

- Additional Costs: No additional costs for law modules, and all compulsory material is in the library. International students may have associated visa and immigration costs.

Careers
Most Strathclyde LLB graduates enter the legal profession after completing the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice and a two-year traineeship in a law firm. Trained Scottish lawyers are increasingly in demand in England and abroad. There are also many job opportunities for legally-trained graduates in areas such as finance, management consultancy, teaching, central and local government, human resource management, social work, and education.
