Program Overview
The University of Strathclyde offers a BA Hons Journalism, Media and Communication & Psychology program. This program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the media industry, journalism, and communication, as well as the study of human behavior through psychology.
Program Structure
The program is a four-year course that allows students to study two subjects, Journalism, Media and Communication, and Psychology. The first year introduces students to the basic principles of learning and the biological bases of behavior, thinking, memory, personality, social influences on behavior, and changes in behavior throughout the lifespan. In the second and third years, students develop a greater understanding of human development and interaction, cognitive processes, individual differences, and biological influences on behavior.

Entry Requirements
The entry requirements for the program are:
- Highers: AAAA (1st sitting) or AAAAB (2nd sitting)
- A Levels: ABB-BBB
- International Baccalaureate: 32-30
- Irish Leaving Certificate: Two H2 passes and three H3 passes including English
- HNC: Year 1 entry with a graded unit in Creative Industries, Practical Journalism, or Social Sciences
