Program Overview

The University of Strathclyde Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences offers a variety of MPhil and PhD research opportunities in the following areas: cancer and inflammatory disease, cardiovascular and metabolic disease, neuroscience and mental health, drug discovery, formulation and delivery, materials and manufacture, microbiology and industrial biotechnology, pharmacoepidemiology and health care. Research opportunities may be funded or unfunded and applicants are encouraged to contact the department to discuss their specific research interests. The program includes a Postgraduate Certificate in Researcher Professional Development to aid students in their research and career skills.
