Accredited by the Academy of Medical Laboratory Science (AMLS), it focuses on the significance of pathology laboratories in diagnostics. Course Schedule:

• Part-time course over two years.
• Delivered primarily online (>80%) using blended learning, day-release, and block-release formats.
• Medical Laboratory Management 1: Management and Quality: Principles of laboratory management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced Biomedical Literacy: Advanced scientific writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Advanced Diagnostics: Advanced diagnostic techniques and technologies used in clinical laboratories.
• Research Methods and Biostatistics: Research design, data analysis, and statistical methods.
• Point of Care Testing: Principles and applications of point-of-care testing devices.
• Medical Laboratory Management 2: Operations/Processes: Operational and process management in clinical laboratories.
• Laboratory Research Project: Experimental research project in a specialist discipline.
