Program Overview
This one-year, part-time program provides students with the technical skills and knowledge necessary for careers in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in production, quality assurance, or validation roles. Graduates will be proficient in good manufacturing practices, documentation, and biopharmaceutical processing technologies. The program combines classroom instruction with distance learning and is offered over two evenings a week.

Entry Requirements:
If you are under 23 years old on 1 January you must have achieved Grade D3 in five Leaving Certificate subjects, including Mathematics and English or Irish or a FETAC Level 5 qualification or equivalent unless otherwise stated. That is 5 subjects: O6/H7, English or Irish: O6/H7 and Mathematics: O6/H7, or better to apply for year one of this course. Mature students (Over 23 years on 1 January) are eligible. Eligible candidates may be interviewed. All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English.
