Programme Content

During this module, participants will:

• Understand the core principles and leadership behaviours behind effective behavioural safety
• Apply peer-to-peer and team-based approaches to improve safety performance
• Use performance indicators to measure behaviour change and maintain progress
• Build confidence to design, implement, and sustain a behavioural safety process in their organisation

Key Information

• This micro-credential will be delivered online over 6 weeks.
• Assessment will be through continuous skill-based assignments with no final exam.
• The course is designed for working professionals, with evening or recorded lectures and additional preparation and group work time.

Entry Requirements

To be successful on this course, applicants should:

• Hold a bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 8) with at least a second-class honours, grade 2 (2:2).
• Have at least 3 years of relevant industrial work experience.
• If applicants have a lower result or an unrelated qualification, they may be considered on a case-by-case basis if they can provide evidence of significant experience in health and safety or more years of relevant work experience (Recognised Prior Learning).
