Program Overview

The Professional Doctorate in Engineering (PDEng) is a four-year level 10 apprenticeship that combines research and practical problem-solving in the workplace. Apprentices develop skills in technology, design, and critical thinking to address real-world challenges, supported by a supervisor and industry mentor. The program is delivered through blended online and face-to-face sessions and includes a community of practice for peer learning. Graduates are equipped to contribute significantly to professional knowledge and advance their careers in engineering and related fields.
