During this module, participants will:

Entry Requirements

  • Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 8) with at least a second-class honours, grade 2 (2:2) in any discipline.
  • If applicants have a lower result or an unrelated qualification, they may be considered on a case-by-case basis if they can provide evidence of two or more years of relevant work experience (Recognised Prior Learning).
  • In assessing applications, the Course Team will consider relevant accredited tax qualifications, work experience, etc., as being suitable prior learning.

Delivery and Assessment

  • The micro-credential will be delivered online over 5 weeks.
  • Participants will be assessed through a series of continuous skill-based assignments, with no final exam.
  • Part-time considerations include designed working professional schedules, evening or recorded lectures, and additional preparation and group work time. A timetable will be provided after registration.

Please Note: Applicants may only apply for and receive, one subsidised course per semester. Applications without this cannot be processed. This module aims to support technology professionals with knowledge and skills relating to risk, ethics, and governance and AI research and commercialisation.
