Key Information

• This micro-credential will be delivered online over 5 weeks.
• You will be assessed using continuous online assessment with no final exam.
• Weekly e-tivities in weeks 1-4 and a final assignment submitted in week 5.
• This module has no evening lectures. There is a meet and greet lecture at the beginning of the module and there is a catch-up session in week 4.

Entry Requirements

To help you to be successful on this course:

• Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 8) with at least a second-class honours, grade 2 (2:2) in a relevant discipline.
• If applicants have a lower result or an unrelated qualification, they may be considered on a case-by-case basis if they can provide evidence of 5 years plus of relevant work experience (Recognised Prior Learning).
• Applicants should be currently employed or seeking employment in industries such as Manufacturing, Service, Retail, Defence Forces, Health Care Services; Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Aviation, Semiconductors etc.

• The module is concentrated over 5 weeks and focuses on 4 themed weeks and 1 week where a detailed assessment is carried out.
• The module is not lecture driven and is designed so that students participate and complete a number of themed icebreakers and e-tivities and a final assessment of significance which includes a reflective activity.
• Each week is supported by reading and viewing resources and moderated discussion forums.
