On completion of this module, you will be able to:

• Work collaboratively in an online environment, engage in e-tivities and participate in discussions regarding relevant global SCM topics
• Develop insight and understanding of supply chain practices across your own and other industries
• Identify various frameworks used in supply chain operations current practices
• Determine key performance indicators (KPI) for successful supply chain management
• Recognise supply chain management practices that influence the future success or failure of organisations
• Reflect on your experience throughout the module

Key Information

• This micro-credential will be delivered online over 5 weeks.
• You will be assessed using continuous online assessment with no final exam.
• Weekly e-tivities in weeks 1-4 and a final assignment submitted in week 5.
• This module has no evening lectures. There is a meet and greet lecture at the beginning of the module and there is a catch-up session in week 4.

Entry Requirements

To help you to be successful on this course:

• Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 8) with at least a second-class honours, grade 2 (2:2) in a relevant discipline.
• If applicants have a lower result or an unrelated qualification, they may be considered on a case-by-case basis if they can provide evidence of 5 years plus of relevant work experience (Recognised Prior Learning).
• Applicants should be currently employed or seeking employment in industries such as Manufacturing, Service, Retail, Defence Forces, Health Care Services; Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Aviation, Semiconductors etc.
