- The BSc in Music, Media and Performance Technology is a four-year honours degree program offered on a full-time basis.
- The program focuses on training a new type of interdisciplinary graduate who combines technological competence with artistic and creative endeavor.
- Students will learn the creative implementations of digital media, the development of both audio-visual software tools (programming) and of real-time audio-visual performances (artistic skills), and the theory, principles, and application of digital audio and video.
- Students will also develop expertise in music and video digital media technologies, the skills required for the creative use of music and video digital media, and the expertise needed to take an active role in the diverse field of digital media.

Entry Requirements:
Minimum grades Applicants are required to hold at the time of enrolment the established Leaving Certificate (or an approved equivalent) with a minimum of six subjects which must include: Two H5 (Higher Level) grades and Four O6 (Ordinary Level) grades or four H7 (Higher Level) grades. Subjects must include Mathematics, Irish or another language, and English. In addition, applicants must hold a minimum grade O3/H7 in Mathematics.
Additional considerations
A Special Mathematics Examination will be offered at UL following the Leaving Certificate results for those students who did not achieve the Mathematics requirement.
