Brief Description
The University of Limerick's Executive MBA is a part-time, two-year programme designed to provide vital skills to excel in fast-changing environments. The programme is built for busy professionals to develop strategic leadership skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and managerial vision across five key themes: Internationalisation, Managerial Vision & Competencies, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Strategic Thinking, and Leadership.
Programme Content
Key Information
- Complete part-time over two years
- Delivered on campus in three-day, intensive blocks, with four blocks per semester and two semesters each year
- Modules taught during autumn and spring semesters
- In addition to the core modules, you will also need to choose one elective per semester
- Course includes two Winter Schools, held each January in Years 1 and 2
- Submit a dissertation at the end of the final semester

- Financial Reporting (AC6051) equips students to prepare a set of financial statements in accordance with applicable reporting standards for a range of business structures
- Macroeconomics and the Global Economy (EC6051) provides an introduction to the core principles of macroeconomics and economic policy
- Market Orientation & Customer Focus (MK6002) introduces students to the philosophy and function of marketing

Entry Requirements
- Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 8), with at least a second-class honours grade 2 (2:2), or an approved professional qualification
- At least four years' experience at managerial experience
- An acceptable score in the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Records Examination (GRE) may be required
- An interview with the course selection panel
