Teaching and Learning

The program benefits from excellent facilities and workshops, a highly creative atmosphere, and a vibrant studio culture. Design tutorials and the majority of learning take place in the architecture studio. Students are encouraged to work in a 'hands-on' way, developing and testing their ideas through manual and digital drawings, models, and prototypes. The learning environment is supportive, with students working in small studio groups and on a one-to-one basis with experienced tutors, many of whom are registered architects.

Professional Accreditation

This program is the only Part 2 Architecture course in the UK that carries professional accreditation/validation from the ARB, RIBA, and RTPI, leading to a jointly accredited award in Architecture and Planning disciplines.
