Course Overview
Microbiology is the study of microscopic organisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. The course focuses on the biology of micro-organisms that are unicellular, multicellular, or acellular (without cells). It covers concepts like growth and regulation, and how microbes react with each other and their environments.

Course Structure

Year in Industry Placement
The year in industry will occur between levels 3 and 4. The university supports students in finding a suitable placement, and if a placement is not found, students have the opportunity to transfer to the standard four-year course.
