The Risk & Problem Solving program is designed to develop competencies and skills for managing, leading, and directing the analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of operational risks and problems.

• Manage, lead, and direct the analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of operational risks and problems
• Know the tools useful for reducing and/or eliminating risks and problems in the organization
• Improve the prevention and detection of potential risks or problems
• Increase the profitability of the company by avoiding risks and problems

• Risk assessment: qualitative vs. quantitative method
• Methodologies (What if, APR, AMFE, ...)
• ISO standards: ISO31000; ISO 27005; ISO45001

Problem Management

• General procedure for problem-solving
• Methodologies (KT-Method, DOE, Ishikawa, 8D, ...)
• Group dynamics through Kaizen events

Admission and Registration

• To register, fill out the form that appears by clicking the "Register" button.
• Payment must be made by transfer to the CAIXABANK account:
  • IBAN: ES 0049.
• The participant or the company may request the cancellation of the registration up to 15 days before the start of the program, and IQS will refund the full amount. After this period or once the program has started, IQS will decide whether to refund the amount and the amount to be reimbursed if applicable.
• IQS reserves the right to cancel or postpone the start of the program if the minimum number of participants is not reached to carry it out and guarantee its quality standards. In this case, IQS will contact the participant or the company to proceed with the refund of the total amount paid.

• What should I do to register?

• Can I benefit from any aid?
  • Yes, always and when the registration fee is paid by you, totally or partially.
• Can my company benefit from any discount?
  • Yes, always and when one of the following circumstances occurs:
    • Be a partner of the Fundació Empreses IQS.
    • Have previously trained collaborators in IQS Executive Education.
    • Enroll more than one participant in the same program and edition.
• Is the program eligible for Fundae (Tripartita) funding?
  • Yes, it is eligible since we meet the requirements for this purpose. The amount or percentage of the funding will depend on the hours and modality, as well as other criteria outside of IQS.
• IQS does not take charge of the procedures for this funding and does not issue any invoices to third-party organizing entities.

Program Outline

It caters to industrial environments with complex, highly technical processes that rely heavily on human factors. The program aims to provide participants with practical knowledge in methodologies and tools, enabling them to define a real management model for their companies.

Objectives:

• Manage, lead, and direct the analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of any operational risk or problem.
• Gain knowledge of tools to reduce and/or eliminate risks and problems within the organization.
• Enhance the prevention and detection of potential risks or problems.
• Increase company profitability by avoiding risks and problems.

Teaching:

• The program is delivered in a blended format, combining in-person sessions on campus with synchronous online sessions via video conferencing.
• Online sessions are interactive and recorded for those who miss them.
• The program emphasizes practical learning through various dynamics and activities designed to have a direct impact on participants' professional lives.

Other:

• The program is part of the "Posgrado Product & Process Engineering Managament" program.
• The program is taught by "practitioners" in Risk & Problem Solving.
• IQS awards a Certificate of Completion to those who successfully complete the program.
