Master in Global Entrepreneurial Management

Programme Overview

The Master in Global Entrepreneurial Management is a one-year, 60-ECTS-credit program that provides comprehensive training in business and international environments. The program is taught jointly by the IQS School of Management, Loyola Marymount University, and Fu Jen Catholic University.


Objectives and Competences

The program aims to train professionals who can take on executive management roles at companies across global markets, working with a special focus on innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit. Upon completing the program, students will have gained the knowledge and skills necessary to manage and lead companies and organizations on an international scale.


By completing the Master in Global Entrepreneurial Management, students will acquire the following competences:


  • Understand the current economic, political, cultural, and social environments that impact business management.
  • Detect, analyze, and develop new and innovative ideas and business opportunities in global markets.
  • Develop entrepreneurial skills through a practical approach to new business ideas.
  • Acquire tools and skills related to developing real consulting projects along with project management and business management.
  • Learn to develop new and innovative ideas aimed at implementing an international business plan.
  • Understand how to design business strategies to engage in international businesses.
  • Develop and implement new commercial, operational, and financial formulas to take companies global.
  • Employ negotiation and communication skills and knowledge in global and multicultural environments.
  • Gain practical experience through internships in global companies.

Curriculum

The curriculum of the Master in Global Entrepreneurial Management is structured in three sequential modules across the three geographical locations. Each module consists of four subjects in addition to the consulting projects and the Master Thesis in the form of a business plan.

International Mobility

The program takes place across three different universities and continents:


  • From September to December in Barcelona (Spain) at the IQS School of Management.
  • From January to April in Taipei (Taiwan) at Fu Jen Catholic University.
  • From May to August in Los Angeles (USA) at Loyola Marymount University.

Practical Experience

During the program, students will engage in different activities that will allow them to obtain a complete and multidisciplinary profile in the field of global business. These activities include:


  • Consulting projects with companies that are present in global markets.
  • Developing a Master Thesis, which consists of creating a business plan.
  • A professional in-company internship in Los Angeles.
