Program Overview

This BA (Hons) Finance degree at Bournemouth University develops a thorough understanding of the workings of national and global capital markets and financial systems with a focus on the pricing of financial assets, risk management and the behaviors of financial institutions. Students will gain a comprehensive overview of the sector and have flexibility to transfer to a different specialism within accounting and finance at the end of their first year. There are optional modules in the third year, which include Managing Crises and Disaster Resilience, Public Finance & Policy, Advanced Accounting Theory, and Practice & Perspectives on Business Strategy. 95% of graduates are either working or studying fifteen months after graduating.
