Program Overview

The MRes Critical Human Geographies program is a research-intensive program in human geography, part of the ESRC South West Doctoral Training Partnership. It prepares students for doctoral-level research or careers in social science research in both academic and non-academic settings. The program offers core modules in geographical theories and methodologies, along with research-led modules that expose students to cutting-edge research. Graduates have gone on to work in various fields, including academia, public policy, and the private sector.
