Outline:

The program is modular and flexible, carrying 180 credits (240 credits for the Engineering Business Management with Industrial Placement variant) in total. It offers flexibility in the choice of modules studied.

MSc Engineering Business Management:

• Consists of seven core engineering, business, and management-focused modules totaling 180 credits.
• Includes the 60-credit Engineering MSc project and two 15-credit optional modules.
• Begins in September each year, with taught elements concluding by May.
• The Engineering MSc project, under the personal supervision of a research expert in the chosen area, continues until September.

• There is considerable demand in the workplace for graduates with knowledge in both a specialist technology area and in management, particularly in the modern tools and techniques to support the management of a dynamically changing engineering business.

Candidates must hold a CEng accredited BEng/CEng (Hons) undergraduate first degree to comply with the full CEng registration requirements.
• Students benefit from hands-on experience in the Exeter Digital Enterprise Systems (ExDES) laboratory, a cutting-edge facility training students to generate and implement multi-disciplinary, advanced, and smart engineering solutions in student-centred and competence-orientated ways.

You will also be required to pay a tuition fee deposit to secure your offer of a place, unless you qualify for exemption.
