Program Overview

The MRes Advanced Biological Sciences at the University of Exeter is a research-focused program that equips graduates with essential skills for a successful career in research. Students complete two substantial research projects, receive advanced laboratory training, and choose from seven specialist pathways, including Animal Biology and Microbiology and Infectious Disease. The program emphasizes critical thinking, independent learning, and the development of employer-valued skills, such as scientific writing and data analysis.
