Degree Overview:
This 20 credit, single module will enable students to critically evaluate global demographic and social drivers relevant to contemporary communities of practice. Students will explore the value of co-production as part of person-centered practice and evaluate the contribution of Occupational Therapy to meet the needs of groups in diverse settings. It aims to prepare for engagement into the strategic response of your profession to contemporary health and social needs, working with a 3rd sector organisation to evaluate the unique needs of their community. This module is a standalone module that forms part of the MSc Advanced Occupational Therapy programme so you will have the opportunity to learn alongside MSc students.
Objectives:
- Critically evaluate global demographic and social drivers relevant to contemporary communities of practice.
